There can never be too many widescreen resolution wallpapers.
This is, in my opinion, the most adorable picture of Howl. Probably why it's used so often, but I wanted to do something with it myself.

I wanted to make an abstract, dreamy looking background for howl. It was my excuse to play with my new brushes.
What came afterwards was mostly playing with the colors and saturation, softening the character, and adding details like the text behind him.
Most of the work would have been rendering the character but thankfully I found this render already done on aethereality.net~
